Online Booking, stock counts on mobile, and smarter invoicing

This month’s updates are all about making the everyday tasks smoother – from booking to inventory to billing. You can now manage resources directly in Online Booking, count stock from your mobile device, and refine invoice views with new tag filtering.

Feature highlights include:

  • Resources in Online Booking – Schedule rooms, teams, or equipment alongside users, so patient self-booking always reflects true availability.

  • Scan-and-count stock on mobile – Use your phone to scan items, check quantities, and update stock on the spot.

  • Filter invoices by Client tags – Combine client and invoice tags to quickly focus on the exact billing group you need.

Resources available in Online Booking

What it does:
Enable clinics to make “resources” (such as rooms, equipment, teams) available in Online Booking – not just individual named users/virtual users. This way, patients can be booked a service or team slot in advance, even if specific staff shifts have not yet been assigned.

Key benefits:
✓ Maintain accurate availability for nurse appointments and other resource-led services without waiting on final staff rosters.
✓ Reduce manual updates by managing capacity at the resource level.
✓ Keep booking flexible: accept appointments now, assign specific users later.

Scan and count on the Provet mobile app

What it does:
Enables quick stock updates from the mobile app: scan an item, count it, and move to the next one. Designed for fast spot checks and inventory counts without returning to a desktop. Initial version focuses on a simple scan‑and‑count flow.

Note: Not able to access the app? Take a look at your user permissions to see if you have enabled access.

Key benefits:
✓ Save time by performing inventory checks on the floor, in storage, or between appointments.
✓ Improve data accuracy and confidence by updating quantities at the point of count.

Extended filter options on invoice dashboard – filter by client tags

What it does:
You can now filter invoices on the Invoice dashboard by Client tags, in addition to existing Invoice tags. Use either tag type on its own or combine them to refine results and focus on the exact set of invoices you need. This builds on the core Client tags feature and extends its use to invoice workflows.

Key benefits:
✓ Quickly isolate invoices for specific client groups (e.g., breeders, rescues, corporate accounts) using Client tags.
✓ Combine Client tags with Invoice tags to narrow results and speed up processing.
✓ Reduce manual sorting for a clearer overview during month-end billing and debt management.
