Each morning, veterinarian Anette Bruntse hits the road early, visiting 10 farms and treating hundreds of cows before most people have had their first cup of coffee. “I work primarily with cows,” she says. “A little bit with dogs and cats and horses, but mostly cows. I come to them every day and I do a lot of treatment.”

“They can’t tell you anything. “For the last two years, it’s been the best prices ever for milk and meat,” Bruntse says. “It’s very attractive to be a farmer now. Five or ten years ago, it was a lot of work for very little money. But now, it’s been very, very good.”
With rising demand, however, comes added complexity, especially for production animal vets operating under strict regulation.
“In Denmark, we have to report every medicine we use,” she explains. “You can actually trace milk in the supermarket back to the individual cow it came from.”

“What’s most important to me is that Provet Cloud works very fast,” Bruntse says. “If I have a lot of cows to register, it has to go fast.”

“If I have 10 cows with the same condition, I just enter the treatment once and copy it for all of them,” she says. “I don’t have to write the same thing 10 times.”
This is especially useful for routine, large-scale treatments.
“Sometimes I have 15, 20, even 30 heifers that all need hormones to get into heat,” she explains. “I create the treatment bundle once and copy it across all of them. If I had to write it 30 times, I’d go a little bit crazy!”
