Here’s your monthly roundup of what shipped across Provet Cloud. This edition highlights a unified registration experience for clients and patients, reason-level control for multiple appointment reminders, clearer client statements, unit-level stock reporting, multi-select sharing for central forms, and time-bound access for locum staff.

New: Simplified client registration (small animal clinics)
What it does:
No matter where you start – Appointments, Billing, or elsewhere – you now land on the same client form. The form asks only for the essentials for small animal clinics, so setup is quicker. Everything works the same wherever you begin, which makes training and handoffs easier. This is part of our ongoing Provet Cloud interface refresh.

- Less duplicate entry and fewer errors with one consistent path.
- Faster setup that focuses on the fields clinics actually use.
- Easier handoffs between teams because every route leads to the same page.
Note: It is not yet available to customers based in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia or Spain, and a small cohort of customers who have ID Number marked as mandatory. 
New: Simplified patient registration (small animal clinics)
What it does:
All paths to create a patient lead to the same modern page. The form focuses on the information small animal clinics use most, cutting noise and re-entry. Because every route works the same way, it’s faster to complete and easier to teach. This change is included in our Provet Cloud interface refresh.

- A cohesive experience that helps teams move quickly and confidently.
Note: It is not yet available to equine / large animal clinics or customers who use the IF insurance integration in Finland at this time.

New: Locum (relief) assignment management
What it does:
Local Clinic Managers can assign locum vets and nurses to specific clinics and dates, and Provet Cloud allows access only to those clinics on those days. Access ends automatically when the assignment finishes. That removes manual account toggling and prevents access outside scheduled shifts. A common case: Clinic A on Mondays and Clinic B on Tuesdays.

- Stronger security and compliance with access limited to the right clinic and dates.
- Local teams can schedule without system-admin involvement.

New: Multiple appointment reminders by reason
What it does:
You can now set different reminder schedules per appointment reason. For example, surgery can have a different cadence than a wellness visit. You set the timing on the reason itself, so messages better match the visit. This gives clinics more control without extra steps.
Key benefits:
- More relevant communications for each visit type.
- Flexible setup that fits local workflows.


New: Client & Patient page action buttons have a new location
What it does
On the Client and Patient pages, key action buttons have moved from the right side to the top. This puts the most-used actions where eyes naturally go first, so they’re easier to find. The page is cleaner now, with more improvements on the way.

New: Apply multiple prepayments to multiple invoices
What it does:
On the Client page, Billing tab, each prepayment now has an Action button. Click Use Prepayment to open a view that loads the six most recent unpaid, finalized invoices for that client. From there, you can apply one prepayment to several invoices in a single step – no more opening invoices one by one.
Key benefits:
- Allocate a prepayment to multiple invoices at once, reducing clicks and repetitive work.
- Start in one place (Billing tab → Prepayment table), without drilling into each invoice.
- Faster, more intuitive allocation using the auto-loaded list of recent unpaid, finalized invoices.


Improvement: Client Statements – clearer, more accurate details
What it does:
Detailed statements now show used quantity instead of total input with wastage, so statements match the invoice. The clinic’s VAT number appears on Summary and Detailed statements when it’s set, and is hidden if it isn’t. The result is clearer, more professional billing.
Key benefits:
- Fewer invoice–statement mismatches for easier client conversations.
- Better compliance and record-keeping when VAT is shown.

Improvement: Stock Level report (now shows units)
What it does:
The Stock Level report shows exact unit counts and does the unit math for you. You no longer have to convert from packages or interpret values like “4.25 packages.” Checks are quicker, and numbers are easier to trust.

- Easier stock management with fewer manual conversions and errors.
- Faster, more confident decisions for stock managers.


Improvement: Multi-select sharing for central forms
What it does:
When sharing a central form, you can select several clinics at once. This replaces the old “one or all” choice, so partial rollouts are simple. Forms go only where they’re needed, without duplicate setup.

- More flexible sharing with targeted distribution.
- Time saved by avoiding duplicate forms and repeated share steps.
- Better control over which clinics receive each form.

Improvement: Manage financial visibility across multiple clinic locations
What it does:
Admins can choose whether a user sees finance data for all clinics or only the clinic they’re in. Combined with which clinics a user can sign into, this keeps daily numbers focused on the right location. Central finance or admin teams can still be set to see everything.
Key benefits:
- Staff see financial data (invoices, payments, and balances) only for their current clinic.
- Reduced accidental access and improved data security.
- Dashboards and totals stay relevant to the user’s clinic.
- Central teams retain full visibility when needed.

Improvement: Reducing waste – better inventory management
What it does:
A new clinic-level setting skips waste when a full package is sold. This fixes cases where waste was still added even though the clinic dispensed a whole pack. It fits clinics that administer in units but dispense in packages, and it keeps your waste setup accurate.

- No unnecessary waste when a full package is sold, improving cost accuracy and stock records.
- Less confusion for teams that administer in units and dispense in packages.
- Fewer manual corrections and reconciliations for billing and inventory.
