November 2024 (Provet Cloud release 2.13)

Here's what's new in our 2.13 release

We’re excited to share the latest updates to Provet Cloud, including:

Updates on the stock reports

We have merged the "Stock level" and "Stock level change" reports into a single, simplified report format, accompanied by updated filters. This change aims to provide a more intuitive stock report generation experience, making it easier to track and analyze stock levels and changes over time. The updated filters let you quickly refine reports to access the data you need, ensuring a smoother workflow for inventory management.

This reporting process enhancement makes it easier to monitor stock trends and maintain accurate records.

Key benefits:

  • Simplified reporting by merging “Stock level” and “Stock level change” reports
  • Improved report filters for a more user-friendly reporting experience
  • Enhanced ability to track and analyze stock trends, leading to better inventory management

Minimum quantity and integer-only sales for items

We have expanded the minimum quantity feature to include procedures and laboratory items, in addition to medicines, foods, and supplies. Users can now set minimum quantities to prevent sales below a defined threshold. Additionally, an option to enforce integer-only sales has been introduced, ensuring items are sold in whole numbers for greater control over pricing.

Key benefits:

  • Managers can control how users price items, avoiding unintended or unauthorized discounts.
  • Prevent issues like partial sales (e.g., selling 0.6 of a procedure) for more consistent invoicing.
  • Greater control over item pricing for larger clinic chains and multi-user environments.

Enhanced communication preferences

Clinics can now use Communication Preferences to request client consent for external messages like newsletters or marketing materials while setting clear consent duration guidelines. This ensures that clients are informed about how their data will be used and can opt out of external communications as needed. Clinical staff can now set a new client’s communication preferences during registration, removing barriers and simplifying the user experience.

Key benefits:

  • Secure and transparent consent management for external messaging.
  • Simplifies compliance with data privacy standards.
  • Provides clear guidelines for clinical staff to explain data handling.
  • Setting communication preferences during client registration streamlines the process for both clients and clinical staff.

Custom messaging for home department changes

We have introduced the ability to include custom messaging when changing the home department for a client or patient. This ensures users are informed about potential knock-on effects, such as issues with external automated systems connected to the clinic’s ecosystem.

Key benefits:

  • Reduces the risk of errors when altering home departments.
  • Ensures staff are fully informed of potential impacts on connected systems.
  • Provides greater transparency and control during critical changes.

Permission-based control for tag usage

Tag usage can now be restricted based on permission groups, offering more precise control over who can add or remove specific tags. For instance, debt-related tags can be limited to financial staff, while other users will have read-only access.

Key benefits:

  • Enables tighter control over sensitive tags, preventing accidental or unauthorized changes.
  • Fully optional and does not affect current tag usage unless restrictions are implemented.
  • Improves data accuracy by limiting tag access to authorized users only.

More granular permissions for item edits

We have added new permissions to provide granular control over item-related edits, including purchase price, visibility options, and handling/injection fees. Managers can now specify which users can access or modify specific fields without impacting other permissions.

Key benefits:

  • Greater flexibility in assigning permissions for item-related tasks.
  • Maintains existing access settings unless updated by managers.
  • Prevents unauthorized changes to critical pricing or visibility fields.

User permissions for handling and injection fee settings

A new user permission has been introduced to manage access to handling and injection fee settings in department configurations. Previously controlled by general department settings, this feature now allows for more specific access control.

Key benefits:

  • Allows managers to grant or restrict access to handling and injection fee settings independently.
  • Improves flexibility in managing department permissions.
  • Ensures users access only relevant settings, reducing potential errors.

New app shell rollout for right-to-left language users

We are excited to announce that the new App Shell, previously released to other Provet Cloud users, will now be available for customers using right-to-left (RTL) languages. Starting with version 2.13, this final rollout will bring a modernized and consistent user interface to clinics in RTL language regions, including Israel.

Key benefits:

  • Delivers a cleaner and more intuitive user interface for enhanced usability.
  • Aligns RTL language customers with the latest Provet Cloud design standards.
  • Ensures consistency across all regions and languages for a unified experience.

This update marks the completion of the App Shell rollout, ensuring all Provet Cloud users benefit from the same refined navigation and taskbar improvements. For any questions, please refer to the original App Shell release communication or contact our support team.
